Studying at home can be distracting. A quiet study space like a library may help you focus.

Melbourne Libraries:

The State Library is located in the city opposite RMIT University. You can’t borrow books here but you can make use of the quiet space and free Wi-Fi.

The City Library is located at 253 Flinders Lane, near Degraves Street (try a coffee from one of their cafes). You can borrow books here once you have a library card. It is open until 8pm Monday to Thursday, 6pm on Friday and 5pm on Saturday and Sunday.

You can attend free English Language reading classes at the City Library every Wednesday until 11 April 2018. Click here for a map of where to go.

Library at the Dock is the latest addition to the City of Melbourne’s library services. Click here for a map of where to go.

To borrow books from the library you will need to register for a library card using your photo ID and something that lists your address (like an electricity bill).
