RMIT English Worldwide (REW) offers English language training for non English speakers.
The English for Academic Purposes program is designed to assist international students planning to study at RMIT University to develop language and study skills. The REW Melbourne language centre is located on the city campus of the university. EAP courses are also offered at a number of sites in Asia in partnership with local universities.
IELTS Tests are conducted at the Melbourne centre weekly.
REW also teaches corporate and industry English language programs.
English for Aviation is a specialised course designed to meet new requirements for commercial airline pilots and air traffic controllers to demonstrate English language proficiency at operational level.
The RMIT English Language Test for Aviation (RELTA) is a test of English language proficiency for pilots and air traffic controllers based on the ICAO Language Proficiency requirements. It has been designed in direct response to ICAO guidelines as an all-encompassing testing system and has been endorsed by a number of ICAO Member States.
REW Teacher Training programs are highly regarded throughout the English language industry.
IELTS Test Preparation courses are offered at the Melbourne centre. The IELTS Preparation course computer based package can be purchased by language colleges for use by teachers.
Study Tours to Melbourne are organised for short durations and include English teaching and conversation sessions combined with sporting, cultural and recreational experiences.
