Want to know more about industrial Ethernet?

RMIT Training Client Services and the School of Engineering are offering a new range of short courses in Ethernet-based technology. The training is specifically designed for system engineers, network designers and other trade and paraprofessional support technicians who work with Industrial Ethernet networks. It is available on site in Australia and New Zealand, and on campus at RMIT.

Industrial Ethernet is a rapidly evolving data networking system that delivers real-time performance for automation and process control. It is being embraced by organisations and vendors worldwide.

Ethernet-based technology:
  • can unify a company’s administrative, control-level and device-level networks to run over a single network infrastructure
  • connects more than 85% of the world’s LAN connected PCs and workstations
  • is vital for many industries, including oil and gas, metals and mining, water, food, road, rail and air transportation, energy, manufacturing and building.
