RMIT Training congratulates Louise Austin on receiving the third Global Future Award for 2012. An ELICOS teacher, Louise is currently acting as Project Manager for the start-up phase of the RMIT English Worldwide (REW) partner program in Jakarta, Indonesia.
For the last six months, Louise has shown wonderful people skills and a dedication to developing strong and sustainable relationships, promoting business growth and finding ways to achieve success for the program.
Louise has worked hard to build strong relationships with both Indonesian teaching staff and the short-term teachers deployed from REW Melbourne to work in the program. When there were unforeseen challenges in recruiting teachers for the new program, Louise willingly stayed on in Indonesia longer than planned, demonstrating great commitment and creating a positive impression for our international partners.
Clearly a leader in her field, Louise is a worthy recipient of the Global Future Award. Her single-minded focus on the future has inspired everyone working on the program to achieve their best. We commend Louise for all she has achieved.
Congratulations Louise!
